So, it's a funny story actually...
We’re Justin and Eliza, Southern Vermont natives with a love for hospitality. In February 2017 — and more by chance thank you’d think — we bought this motel. In 2014 we opened Homestyle Hostel (now Homestyle Restaurant), just across the street and always coveted the giant parking lot at our neighboring All Seasons Motel. One cold February morning in 2017, we noticed real estate auction signs going up across the street. Despite living across the street for two years, we’d never actually been inside and an auctioneer led us inside for a tour.
The place was… rough. Run down, smelly, outdated, and very pink and red. We joked that we’d attend the auction and bid up to whatever we thought the parking lot was worth. At the auction, Justin raised his paddle to start the bidding. Then came the crickets. Eventually one other paddle went up, and the auctioneer leaned over and said, “I have a car worth more than your bid.” Justin laughed, raised his paddle again before anyone could stop him, and that was that. We became the proud owners of our dream parking lot — plus a 13-room motel. After a year of renovation, we are now a quintessential Vermont motel with a modern twist, wrapped around a charming cocktail bar.

We're parents too, we get it.

Meet Justin and Eliza, the team behind Main + Mountain. Justin runs the bar, curates craft cocktails, and keeps everything behind the scenes running smoothly, while Eliza shapes the guest experience and the style of the property. Their daughter Elliot brings the fun, and their dog Wally is the official mascot, making every stay feel welcoming, lively, and full of personality. You'll likely see them during your stay! Say hi!

Come hit the slopes of more than six ski mountains close enough for day trips- including local favorite Vail-owned Okemo, less than a mile away from Main + Mountain. Explore local hiking, biking, leaf-peeping, cheese farms, outlet shopping, lakes, watersports, Weston theater and Ludlow's world-class 18-hole golf course.
